So you've got a pick of the guest towers! I personally recommend one with an ocean view but let's be honest, they're all luxurious enough to make a gold digger shit themselves!

But now that the initial relief (followed by annoying reminders) is starting to wear off, Rhys is realizing he's been left with a content, comfortable buzz following that drink. Like a warm blanket, or good whisky.
He's also now really taking in the castle since Jack's brought it up (no shock that he lives here alone, who could stand the guy enough to room with him even in a huge place like this?) and gives a low whistle. ]

[Jack leads the way, steps heavy on the stone floor once he's off the carpet. He turns down a long hallway hung with generic landscapes and paintings of ships at sea, past various closed doors, to a flight of stairs.]
This place is exactly what I asked for! Not a single detail was skimped on. I literally live like a king. I mean I'm just one step away from it being official, once I get a town set up around this place...but anyway, how about a tour! I got a bathtub around here that's probably as big as your apartment - not that I can use it, but I have it and that's what's important!
[ The more time he lets pass (the amount of time it takes for the blood to start properly digesting but he's not going to think about that!!!) the better he's feeling. Still a little out of it, enough so that the change doesn't feel dramatic (this time) but his senses do seem sharper, like when you put on a fresh glasses prescription. He can suddenly see and hear and smell better than a couple hours ago.
Anyways, the point is that 1. he is now acutely aware of his surroundings and 2. he is not ready to go to sleep yet, with this sudden new found energy. ]

The view's one of the best friggin parts. You're not gonna get a view like this in Bavan!

[Jack leads the way through wide, high ceilinged hallways. The carpets are black with gold edging, running along the center of the halls and leaving edges of marble floor bare. What's the point in marble floors if they're completely covered? Suits of armor are set against the wall here and there, along with decorative sculptures and more paintings.]
Place came furnished! How sweet is that? I made some changes here and there - what the hell do I need with a bunch of shelves of books in my rooms? - but that magic chick did good!
[Jack makes a sudden turn, through intricately carved wooden double doors and into some sort of parlor-style room. There's an elaborate fireplace and plush high back chairs and some sort of old fashioned looking couch sort of thing....and large glass doors that lead to a balcony overlooking the ocean.]
[ Rhys follows after him, keeping a generous distance between the two of them. He's...got a lot of mixed emotions when it comes to Jack. His first thought is a bitter one, that it's bullshit that after everything Jack did (to him, personally) he still wins. Gets to live out the rest of his life as a possibly immortal king, even if it's the king of some backwater island.
On the otherhand...this isn't the Jack who burned him, not really. That Jack was still him but this one didn't have their history. No matter how mad he was, he'd never get any vindication out of a man who didn't even know his name till a couple months ago.
He lets out a low whistle at the sight. It's a pretty view, he'll give Jack that. Still, he can't help but dig. ]

A bedroom with a view was starting to sound nicer and nicer though, the momentary burst of energy he got from his…”smoothie” beginning to dissipate and make way for the exhaustion from all his body had been through before it.
He probably had enough left to catch a cab at this point, but his shabby apartment was (aside from being shabby, which sucked on its own) a mess from how he’d stumbled about it in his hunger delirium.

[Jack chuckles a bit. Like Rhys is really gonna just walk away from all this luxury and not come crawling back. When it's freezing cold and damp in whatever shithole in Bavan he's holed up in, he'll be back.

Come on, I'll take ya to the suite. It's a few floors up.
[More than, as it turns out, but there's a metal cage style elevator in the center of the tower, to make the trip to the guest suite at the top quicker. And the suite is as opulent and impressive as promised, with a balcony and fireplace that takes up half a wall and a great canopy bed on a raised section of floor.]
[ He's not! He can do it, he can rough it in his shitty apartment!! It's no worse then the dwellings he's been making due with on Pandora at least...ok they're more or less even.
Rhys gets horrible "torture dungeon" vibes as he enters the cage, and wonders if Jack has something like that in this place. Well, doesn't even wonder really, it's better to assume.
Thankfully the cage goes up, not down, and he's soon distracted from any medieval torture device thoughts as he takes in the suite, heading right for the bed with a goodnight wave over his shoulder to Jack. He doesn't want him to see how excited he is to sleep in a bed with sheets of a high thread count.
He could get used to this. He could. But he won't.
That's the equivelent thought process of a man saying "what are you gonna do? stab me?" when faced with a knife.
He lasts a month of low contact. Only speaking to Jack in passing, occasionally on the network, but keeps his interest low. And he is! He is disinterested. And he does a good job convincing himself of that right up to the evening the hunger begins to return.
He can recognize the feelings this time, catch them before he becomes a sweaty, incoherent mess. He tries to think of ways he can manage this without getting his hands directly dirty...but after a couple of days of being entirely too squeamish to just... just kill people straight on the hungers gotten worse and Rhys is left with few options.
So that's how he finds himself back at the castles entrance, once again waiting to be ushered in by Jack's staff. He's at least more composed this time; he still has his glasses on but the sun has set enough that he doesn't have to shield himself from it and he isn't completely disheveled, just twitchy. ]

Tonight's the one night a week he has to be human, he only gets twenty four hours and it's not like he can screw off from work once a week to take full advantage. He has a footman or whatever the hell that particular rung of servants is called bring him in.
Only this time Rhys is led to Jack's personal tower, where he's relaxing in his own parlor, practically melting into his wing backed plush chair. And it's clearly his, there's a bust of himself on the mantle and the drapes and upholstery are black and gold. And the man himself, currently in the flesh rather chrome.]

For a moment Rhys is dumbstruck, transported back to two years ago when he'd still been Jack's biggest fan. ]

[ He takes a second to lean on the doorframe with one hand, runs a hand back through his hair. He can feel the sweat starting to prickle at the back of his neck but doesn't know if that's from the warmth of the fireplace or withdrawl. ]

[ He takes a deep breath, trying to steady himself and his thoughts amidst the small but persistent voice reminding him there's a human filled with-- uhhhhgh-- blood right there. ]
